Husky Carting Tour with Farm Visit and Transfers from Rovaniemi, 2.5 hours
Carting a 4-kilometre forest trail with huskies in the fall season, sledding as soon as snow falls.
Huskies love to run and to pull but it takes a lot of preparation and conditioning before the dogs are as fit as they can be. Visit the husky kennel and learn how the dogs are trained to become the amazing athletes they are.
As soon as the temperature is 0 degrees Celcius or colder, huskies start to train by pulling carts. The enthusiastic dogs will happily take you down the forest trail for an unforgettable experience. The farm has its own training trail of 4 kilometres on their own land. As soon as there is enough snow, carts will change to sledges and the programme is then equivalent to the Happy Trail Husky Safari in the winter season.
