A short reindeer park visit by foot from Järvisydän

During this guided tour you will get to know more about the life of reindeer. You will also hear the story about how the reindeer came to Porosalmi and Porokylä. The guide will help you to feed the reindeer with their favorite food, reindeer moss. The tour is made by foot, walking distance 1,5-2km from Jrävisydän. A warm drink is served during the tour.

What's included?

    The price includes: Entrance to the private area, guidance, handmade souvenir, reindeer moss and a warm drink in the cafeteria. Children (ca 4-12 years old) can also try the mini snowmobiles.

      Please note

        Pre-reservation for guided excursions is always needed  and our guide will personally pick you up from Järvisydän safari house. The address is Porosalmentie 316, 58900 Rantasalmi.

        In the cafeteria you can buy souvenirs and drinks.

        What to bring

          Please, wear comfortable shoes and outdoor clothes suitable for the weather.
