Snowshoeing Trip in UKK National Park from Tankavaara Gold Village, 2 hours

The trip starts from Tankavaara Gold Village restaurant where our guide will check your winter gear. Winter overalls are provided free of charge if needed. You will then head off to the snowshoeing trail 200 meters from the restaurant leading you to the UKK National Park. Our guide will teach you snowshoeing technique and answer your questions about Lappish nature. Halfway, you will stop for a break at our traditional Lappish shelter and enjoy hot drinks and snacks.

The trail is easy to follow and we can stop as many times as needed to rest and take photos. The total walking distance by snowshoes is 2km. You will see magical snowy forests and fells of Lapland. The trails we use are very quiet and peaceful.
