The thrills of snowmobiling and mushing in one adventure

If you like huskies and snowmobiles, this safari is for you! After a brisk snowmobile ride, you’ll arrive to the husky dog kennel where the dogs will welcome you with friendly barking. Experience a thrilling 20-minute husky ride and learn about the life of huskies. Hot beverages are served around a campfire at the kennel before you ride back to Rovaniemi on snowmobiles.

It’s good to notice that this excursion is a combination of both 4-stroke and electric snowmobiles according to the customers’ purchase decision (Snowmobile Safari to Husky Kennel / Snowmobile Safari to Husky Kennel By Electric Snowmobile).

        Suitability: Children over 2 years

        Child price entitles children to a seat in a sled pulled by a 4-stroke snowmobile ridden by the guide. This is purely for a reason that it’s not possible to pull a sled by electric snowmobile. Children over 140 cm in height are allowed to sit on the snowmobile behind an adult, when paying the adult price.Lapland Safaris AC Ltd reserves the right to deny the participation of small children due to safety reasons (e.g. demanding weather or trail conditions).

        Each snowmobile is shared by two guests taking turns in driving. The driver of the snowmobile has to be at least 18 years of age with a driver’s license valid in Finland. Driving a motorized vehicle under the influence of alcohol or intoxicating drugs is prohibited by the laws of Finland.

        Husky ride approximately 20 min. When sharing the husky sleigh on the safari one is standing behind a sleigh as a controller and one is sitting on a sleigh as a passenger.

        Self liability can be reduced to €150 by paying waiver supplement € 20

        Solo riding possibility. Supplement for solo riding 50 € / person 

        Please notice that the meeting/pick-up times for the excursion vary depending on the meeting/pick-up point you have chosen, so we kindly ask you to check carefully the correct time from your ticket attached to the confirmation e-mail.

        What to bring

          Please take your driving license with you on the snowmobile safari as the police may check the validity of the license during the safari.
