Snowmobiling 12km two ways across the Arctic wilderness and ice fishing on a private lake

This half-day safari starts by snowmobile from Lapin Luontoloma rental office in Saariselka (Lutontie 3, Saariselkä) at 9:45 am. You will get all equipment needed during the trip and snowmobiling instructions. After that, we drive 12 km across the beautiful Arctic wilderness towards our private lake called Taimenjarvi. You will get instructions to ice fishing and can try catching fish through a hole in the ice.

Hot coffee and grilled sausages will be served during the trip. In addition, you will get your lungs filled with fresh air and can enjoy the beauty of the Arctic wilderness. We drive back to Saariselkä by snowmobile and arrive there around 1:30 pm.

To be allowed to drive a snowmobile, you need to have driving license for a car. Otherwise, you can sit back of the snowmobile. However for safety reasons, children from age 4 - 12 have to sit on the sleigh, which is pulled by a snowmobile.
